Open a new tab in your browser and log in to Zapier.

Navigate to the Zaps page.

Click on the Make a New Zap button.

Search for "Halo" and click Halo. Then, click Continue.

Select "New Alert" for "Trigger Event" and click Continue.

Click the Sign in to Halo button.

Open a new tab in your browser and log in to Halo to create an API key.

Click the "+" icon and type the name "Zapier". Then, click the Create Key button.

Copy the new API key into Zapier. Then, click Yes, Continue.

Select "Choose an account" and click "Halo". Then, click Continue.

Click the Test Trigger button. Then, click Continue.
​

Search for "Slack' and click "Slack".
​

Select "Action Event" and choose "Send Channel Message". Then, click Continue.
​

Click the Sign in to Slack button.
​

Under "Set up action" select a Slack channel in the "Channel" dropdown.
​

Click in the "Message Text" box to get a list of available event fields. Then, click Continue.

Click the Test and Continue button.
​

A test alert will appear in Slack.
​

Click the Turn on Zap button.
