Setting up a SAML integration with LastPass includes several steps:

  1. First, you need to have a LastPass Enterprise account. If you don't have one, you can sign up for a free trial at https://www.lastpass.com/enterprise.

  2. Next, you need to set up your identity provider (IdP) with LastPass.

  3. Once you have configured your IdP, you can set up the SAML integration in LastPass. To do this, log in to your LastPass Enterprise account as an administrator, and go to the Admin Console.

  4. In the Admin Console, click on "Single Sign-On" in the left-hand navigation menu. Then click on "SAML" to go to the SAML configuration page.

  5. On the SAML configuration page, click on "Add SAML Configuration". Enter a name for the SAML configuration, and then copy and paste the SAML metadata provided by Halo Security into the "SAML Metadata" field.

  6. Next, you need to configure the mapping of LastPass user attributes by clicking on "Attribute Mapping".

  7. Finally, you need to enable the SAML integration for your LastPass users. To do this, click on "User Access" in the left-hand navigation menu.

  8. Click on "Enable SSO". You can select which users you want to enable SSO for and also set a default login policy.

You'll want to ensure that the SAML integration is enabled in the Halo Security dashboard as well.

That's it! Your LastPass SAML integration should now be set up and ready to use.
